Lots of people these days are asking whether Profile links are working or its dead. In my experience I can say its working effectively.

I’m a fan of Micro Niche Websites. So far I used micro sites for clickbank products and e-junkie products.

The method:

I selected a top selling product (Used Cbtrends.com and Google Trends)

Bought a domain which has the product name in it. (mycbproductname.com)

The keyword Productname is receiving around 5400 searches every month.

I outsourced my content writing part. My writer wrote an excellent review which I made as my home page. I also added 5 articles in the niche.

Since its wordpress, I got my site indexed in less than a day with no effort. (Did quite good onsite optimization and installed XML plugin and All in one seo plugin)

From Day 2 I started blog comments on high PR blogs. I did around 100 comments in 3 days.

From Day 5, I started building profile links. Each day I used to build 25 profiles. I used to ping all profile links immediately on the same day.

After 2 weeks I reached 3rd position and still there after 4 weeks. The first result is the product itself and the second is another affiliate which I’m trying to outrank just with profile links.

I never did any other SEO work. No Social Bookmarks or No Article Submission.

Make sure you get a link from High PR website. Because most likely links from high pr sites will be indexed quickly to give you good link juice.
